VERSE 1 “How Long, O Lord?” your Martyrs ask Beneath your altar stone. While victory is clear in heav’n, Here evil claims the throne. VERSE 2 The Holy Ghost upholds your saints, Gives courage to the weak. “Trust me, dear souls, you will yet find The Edenland you seek.” VERSE 3 The Liar whispers in their ear, “How can you be so sure? Has God been seen, or heard or touched By anyone impure?” VERSE 4 But Jesus is the Victor still, The Spirit surety. For God has sent his only Son To be our purity.
2.
REFRAIN Your word, O Lord, isn’t hard to hear; It’s hard to take to heart. Your call is open; it’s clean and clear To those who play their part. VERSE 1 If you should send your Angel to pass along your word, Or should it be a quiet little bird, Let it be, let it be in my heart As it is in your will. VERSE 2 Don’t want to be like Sarah, laughing under breath, Nor Gideon, who tested what you said. Let it be, let it be in my heart As it is in your will. VERSE 3 Like simple Ananias, may I trust your plan, Then answer with a brimming, “Here I am.” Let it be, let it be in my heart As it is in your will. VERSE 4 Now may I with Mary hear your call today, And, though I am afraid, clearly say, Let it be, let it be in my heart As it is in your will.

Each Morning 03:44
VERSE 1 Each morning, Lord, it is to you I pray. No other God can stand the Test of truth, But truth you are and true your word and way. With love you reign and bless both age and youth. REFRAIN 1 Your word will come to quiet discontent And humble arrogant, false speaking men. In Zion neither liar nor foul intent Will still exist to tempt this world to sin. VERSE 2 E’en I the least of all shall find a place Among the holy ones on Temple hill To stand in righteousness before your face. For this was Jesus’ holy loving will. REFRAIN 2 Come, Jesus, you are God with us today. Come, Savior, open Zion’s tight-shut gate. Come, Morning Star, and light our darksome way. Come, Son of Man, and slay Old Satan’s hate. ENDING Make your way straight before me, That I may rejoice in you. Spread your protection o’er me, That I may rejoice in you.
4.
VERSE 1 Jesus, your Name shines brighter far Than all the sunshine of our Mays That ever could be seen by eye, Sweeter than all our sunlit days. REFRAIN 1 Jesus, your Name is like the Rose Burst from the bud’s long hidden store, Red as the rusty blood you shed To open Eden’s tight-shut door. VERSE 2 Jesus, your Name, first spoken Word Still thundering, echoes all above The primal boiling watery waste To speak into all chaos, love. REFRAIN 2 Jesus, your Name God’s promise still, “I will be with you, only trust; Hold on through darkest scary hour. All shall be saved whom I’ve made just.” BRIDGE Jesus, your Name be upon our lips Through all of history’s passing days ’Til at the end we will see your face And learn to walk in Eden’s ways.
5.
VERSE 1 Lord, answer again, you who always hear. The Foe attacks my soul with shame and fear. Is sin erased, is mercy really shown? Will providence suffice, are my needs known? VERSE 2 Your promise, Lord, in Christ’s own blood is life, Attendant help at hand for souls in strife. For sacrifice was made on Calvary’s hill, The Lamb of God fulfilled your holy will. REFRAIN Answer me again, you who hear my voice. Angry as I am, silence is my choice. Now I lay me down to rest. VERSE 3 As many call for fuller barns and banks As ask for grace and give you hearty thanks. As many ask for tranquil times and ease As pray your kingdom’s holy reign increase. VERSE 4 Your joyful presence in holy hearts is more To be desired than wealth or fullest store. With you, dear Lord, is peace and wholeness kept, And life is lived and grace not overstepped.
6.
VERSE 1 Jesus, you promise to be here In our taking, blessing, breaking Of these plain things you make dear In this memorial sacrifice. REFRAIN 1 But how, dear Uncreated One, Can you be held in human hands? How can we break God’s only Son And not be banned from all that is? VERSE 2 Because, dear Jesus, it is you Who offered up yourself for sin, Who threw the Temple veil askew. Yes, you who are both priest and host. VERSE 3 It is not bread or wine, per se, Which takes up God in sacrament, It’s God who uses what he may To bear his presence in the world. REFRAIN 2 So praise the Father first of all, His Son our Lord who took on flesh, And Spirit by whose grace we call Upon the Holy Trinity.
7.
Mary, Mary 03:19
VERSE 1 Mary, holy maiden, first disciple, first believer,
 You were the first in saying yes to Gabr'el’s holy call;
 You were first-blessed by Jesus Christ who dwelt within your womb; You held and fed Him near your secret-keeping heart of love; You nursed Him from your soul, and there were pierced by evil’s sword. VERSE 2 Mary, sister, please ask your Son and Lord for His blessing, That I, too, may hear the calling voice of God and follow; That I may be His disciple and He may fill my soul;
 That I may open my heart’s door and let Him in to reign; That I, with all the Saints may rejoice to see His coming.
8.
VERSE 1 The lordly ones who seem to rule the seen and unseen realm Hold goodness, truth, and beauty as constraints to be erased. So they, unhindered by any other will, may take the helm And be the gods of all that they would grow or see abased. VERSE 2 You, dear Son, were my Darling One long before creation. Through you I made rule and ruler both, stood them in the light. Your almighty sway is bounded only by your holy mission To cleanse from sin, give life, and be my image in plain sight. REFRAIN Kiss the Son, kiss the Son The Anointed One Kiss the Son, kiss the Son May his kingdom come VERSE 3 Your scepter shall be gentle kindness to the lowly and meek, But to the loud and proud you dole frustration and defeat. Your rule shall be invisible, seemingly absent, even weak Until you come again to place all things at your Father’s feet.

On Tabor 02:08
VERSE 1 On Tabor there was shown a light In Jesus’ holy Self. In clothes and face, in glory bright Each saw true light itself. VERSE 2 So Peter, James, and John have told And witnessed in their word: That glory shown and Christ, like gold, Was value self-secured. VERSE 3 And all may see, if see they will, That glory still aglow In Jesus’ face upon the hill Or where we live below. VERSE 4 Though risen and ascended higher, His window’s still below, And Tabor is the heart afire, The eye with truth aglow.

Holy Table 06:25
VERSE 1 Taste the feast eternal, set before creation. Passover Lamb given up for our salvation. Holy words are spoken, holy love is given. Tender care for all those whom he has forgiven. VERSE 2 Holy Spirit brought us to Father’s table spread, Where Jesus who bought us takes wine and blesses bread. Holy words are spoken, holy love is given. Tender care for all those whom he has forgiven. VERSE 3 Bread from his betrayal, now this morning broken, Then again forever Christ’s own banquet taken. Holy words are spoken, holy love is given. Tender care for all those whom he has forgiven. VERSE 4 When Christ shall come again all things will be restored. Plenty, grace and mercy where Jesus is adored. Holy words are spoken, holy love is given. Tender care for all those whom he has forgiven.
11.
VERSE 1 Your ways, O Lord, are strange indeed. You shame the proud, the poor you speed, So humble ones may take the lead On Jesus' way; And we with all the lowly plead, “Come, Lord, Today.” VERSE 2 Your Only Son came here to make A priesthood fit for Jesus’ sake, To lift up mystic shewbread cake To you, O Lord; A people called your Name to take With one accord. VERSE 3 My way, Dear Lord, to Gloryland. Direct that I may one day stand With that most holy, godly band Before your throne; And sing your praise with lifted hand In joyful tone.

Edenland 03:53
REFRAIN O, Edenland, our blessed home Where God himself is all-in-all. How blessed those who till your loam And hear the Eucharistic call. VERSE 1 When we came out from Edenland Our exodus from loving grace, There was no rod in Moses’ hand To part the sea and save our race: But Angel’s sword to close the gate And keep us from the Tree of Life. Our parents chose the way of hate And selfish, lonely, deadly strife. VERSE 2 But what comes out from God is good, Tho’ fallen it still bears the trace Of Godly source and, if it could, It would return to its own place Within divinity’s pattern. God would not lose a thing he’s made. What has gone out must soon return And from creation nothing fade. VERSE 3 So God himself left Edenland, From Garden-Glory he came near To rebels’ hearts with open hand To plant again his Eden here. The New Jerusalem will come From God with healing trees of life. And this new land, for all, not some, Will be a home of peace, not strife. REFRAIN O, Edenland, our blessed home Where God himself is all-in-all. How blessed those who till your loam And hear the Eucharistic call.
